Spring flowering clematis

The longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures of spring mark a period of renewed growth and reproduction for plants after the dormancy of winter.

Spring flowering clematis produce their flowers on last seasons growth and should therefore not be pruned. Spring flowering clematis bring a profusion of colour and food for pollinators as the season gets underway.
